Sitting Tree

In Sitting Tree, sit at your desk (or on your desk with your legs crossed if that is comfortable) and begin the pose (see Figure 3.7). With your hands on your desk or by your sides, inhale deeply. As you exhale, slowly bring your hands upward until the palms of your hands touch. Practice this until you naturally get the last part of your exhaling to be at the point your palms touch. Your arms can be bent or straight. Sit in the tree position and inhale and exhale one full breath slowly and then inhale deeply and exhale as you slowly lower your arms. Repeat two or three times.
